of the Dairy sector
The European Excellence in Dairy Learning project aims
to foster a strong & lasting collaboration between learning stakeholders
About the Program
The European Excellence in Dairy Learning project aims to foster a strong and lasting collaboration between learning stakeholders to support the education and skills needs of the sector across Europe. The dairy sector has deeply rooted traditions of vocational education and training (VET) and work-based learning and is now at the forefront of green technology and sustainable solutions. There is a need to protect the conventional skills and attract talented workers with the right digital and green skills for the industry to remain competitive in the international marketplace.

Project Objectives & Goals
This project has its origins in the Association of European Dairy Industry Learning (AEDIL). The AEDIL network consists of 15 member countries who have successfully worked together since 1992 and have delivered several successful European projects that serve as precursors to this proposal.
The vision of the dairy hub is to inspire and up-skill the current generation of dairy professionals and cultivate the next generation of dairy professionals by providing a high-quality, accessible virtual dairy learning environment where individuals and teams can acquire knowledge, skills and abilities to deliver a sustainably, digitally advanced dairy sector.
