This year’s theme focuses on how digitalisation is shaping every stage of the dairy value chain—from primary production to consumer engagement.

Who Can Join & Registration Fee
This school is for:
Early-career researchers and dairy professionals (typically MSc students, PhD candidates, postdocs, or others within 5 years of their latest degree, excluding parental leave and career breaks).
Attendance Fee
The 2026 attendance fee will be covered by the European Excellence in Dairy Learning project, grant number 101055548, however students who attend the Summer school are responsible for all additional costs, e.g., travel, accommodation and subsistence.

Step 1: Complete the Summer School 2026 Application Form, which includes a motivation statement (500 characters)
Step 2: To finalise your application, you will need to complete and return the Supervisor Approval Form to DSS2026@food.au.dk This must be signed by your immediate supervisor, acknowledging that you can cover your own travel fees and accommodation.

The 2026 Dairy Science and Technology Symposium would like to invite you to share your research with an international audience.
We have several 10 min presentations open for application to early-career researchers and dairy professionals (typically MSc students, PhD candidates, postdocs, or others within 5 years of their latest degree, excluding parental leave and career breaks).
Summer school applicants are invited to apply for one of these presentation opportunities.
If you would like to apply, please complete the Abstract Submission form in advance of the April 10th 2026 deadline.
